10 Oct Last year summary, we start again 2016-2017!
We started 2016 with 11 youths, all of them studying: ESO, “Bachillerato”, further education courses or going to English lessons. When we arrived at the end of June, before the summer holidays, we got incredible news; the boys enrolled in training courses (kitchen, hotel reception and personal trainer-nutrition) had passed all their exams and continue with their courses, compaginados with its work. Those who were studying that, adopted their examinations and have become to enroll in September, are already closer to achieving their desired graduate school. The guy who was pursuing right, exceeded the second course in the university, and in September is embarking on a new adventure in Barcelona thanks to that has obtained work that can combine with their studies. The others who were coming to the revision classes of English, have been working in the summer and in September will begin with their studies. In addition this course 2016-2017 We have 4 guys new eager to study and change your life.
We could not be more grateful to have this little família, see as struggle every day to achieve their dreams. It is what makes us continue with Shambhala daily and moving forward to give coverage to more young people who need us. Congratulations warriors!
In April we signed a collaboration agreement to combat social exclusion with the foundation Projecte Jove – Projecte Home Balears.
During the first half of the year we had various events to raise funds (many thanks to Diario de Mallorca for trusting us) and launched the campaign Shambhala Wash, a car wash service with the product 1DryWash, which we make for the first time in the fair botany of Puerto Portals and was a great success. Many thanks to all those who made it possible, especially to the team of 1DryWash for trusting us and cedernos its fantastic product.
Also continues running the campaign Euro4Education in restaurants, and we want to thank all of them that make it possible: Rotana, Ca’n Costa, Rialto Living, Coast, cinnamon and horn. And we have also begun with this campaign in schools and we could not be more grateful with San Cayetano for the great support that has given us and for being the first to put the E4E in the College, which was launched in early 2016 and this new school year return to carry it out.
